she longed to escape from the roots of her awakening.

The luscious flora and fauna, that seemed to be brimming with
mother nature's whimsically brightly-pattterned creatures;
The snow-capped peaks of the Himalayas,
and the folding of wave over wave, in the Dead Sea.

She longed to scrutinise the immaculate detailing of a human's face, and
its explicitly crafted facial expressions:
Smiling, laughing, crying,
eating, sleeping, playing.

She yearned to be a part of this world,
to be able to see the earth in all its splendour.
She dreamt of fawning over her first rainbow;
of watching the ominent dark clouds let loose tiny water droplets. In turrents;
to admire with her very own eyes, the fascinating 8 wonders of the world;

She would give anything to regain her sight.
She would give everything to fulfill her dream.
She wanted to see,
She needed to see.
She had to see.

However, she knew that
she could not,
she would not,
and she will never see.
